sry didn't get better here with nv 185.13 and gnome and compiz Ubuntu 8.10 (Gnome), Compiz 0.7.8, yakuake 2.9.3, but KDE 4.1.4 and QT 4.4.3, could that be why? where did you get the repo for 4.2.1 and 4.5?
