I would like to request FeatureFreeze exception for alpha3 version of geekie. This version has proper support for newer version of exiv2 (0.18) and is required to get exiv2 0.18 into Jaunty - see bug 309684.
Since we have currently alpha2 release, I would suspect the risk of going with alpha3 should be small enough. I have performed a test-build in pbuilder/amd64 with exiv2 0.17 to ensure that it is compatible with current version as well as test build with exiv2 0.18 (which we want to gt in Januty) in my PPA.
