I tried the latest git kernel, and it seems to be fixed. But, I've heard the next ubuntu release is using 2.6.28, is there any chance that 2.6.29 could be used ? Anyway the bug may be fixed in 2.6.28, so I'll try such a kernel, then post the results here.
