  This is a configuration and usability bug, not a functional bug.
  
- The default device configuration in Kino for accessing IEEE1394
- (firewire) is /dev/raw1394. In Ubuntu for many reason, not least
- security, raw1394 cannot be accessed for normal users, and is
- discouraged in most cases for root. Ubuntu uses instead /dev/dv1394/0
- which has slightly less functionality (can't access A/V controls on
- video cameras) but is much safer.
