@Tormod: when I tried Bryce's packages, I was using an empy xorg.conf. With my current setup, as well as the screen corruption issue, I also cannot hibernate or suspend at all. Has anyone else tried this? I'm wondering if it is to do with manually patching the drm,ko and radeon.ko modules.
