Can you please elaborate: - IIRC - what is it? - restarting X - doesn't help. Only reboot helps ! - Setting X to use Clone mode - I added the line Option "Clone" "on" to Section "ServerLayout" in the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf It didn't help (no change - still only one screen, and need reboot inorder to switch).
