OK, thanks for the analysis! As part of the 9.10 planning process, could I ask you to coordinate with Neil Patel and David Barth to establish if the KMS API includes a mechanism to ask the cards if there is a display connected to them? Out of curiosity, I'd also be interested in things like TV out.
