You need to install iscan, provided here as RPM packages:
http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/scan/DL1.do

If you use deb packages, try: sudo alien packagename.rpm, which will
generate a deb for you. Then, install each deb package by issuing: sudo
dpkg -i packagename.deb

Once you are done, launch iscan, or try: sudo iscan (if you want to rule
out permission problems)

Last, when using the V350 with Linux, you will see that it's limited to 
2400dpi. To lift that restriction, check this out:
