You need to install iscan, provided here as RPM packages: http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/scan/DL1.do
If you use deb packages, try: sudo alien packagename.rpm, which will generate a deb for you. Then, install each deb package by issuing: sudo dpkg -i packagename.deb Once you are done, launch iscan, or try: sudo iscan (if you want to rule out permission problems) Last, when using the V350 with Linux, you will see that it's limited to 2400dpi. To lift that restriction, check this out: http://juliancoccia.posterous.com/removing-2400dpi-limitation-fo -- Can't install Epson Perfection V350 scanner https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
