Binary package hint: synaptic
I'm using Jaunty alpha 5, and I tried to install libdvdcss2. Synaptic
gave me an error messages, saying that the package probably no longer
existed. I reloaded and tried again, of course. Then I used terminal
with the following command: sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-
css.sh (libdvdread3 was already installed). When I searched for
libdvdcss2 in synaptic afterwards, it showed the package as downloaded
and installed. It appears that there is some problem with the GUI
interface of synaptic.
