Glad to hear that a new update really works.

After another failure attempt to hang onto a newer version of xserver
and libraries, I had downgraded my T61 (the 3rd or 4th time), almost
down to hardy and even out of KDE4 this time.

The 2.2 intel server has been working fine (except the repeated
configuration change messages in kern.log). I even got my favourite
fireworks 3D (GL) screensaver back working beautifully. I am very
happy.

I'll probably wait for a couple of new updates and I want to understand
what could have gone wrong before trying again.

So what should I add/omit on the xorg.conf? Or could you post your
xorg.conf? Since we have the same laptop I may as well use yours.

And which dri2 library should I use, is it something outside the libgl1
-mesa-dri package?

Thanks,
PC
