I have the same problem, running Kubuntu 8.10 upgraded to KDE 4.2 with the packages from the intrepid-backports repository (upgraded yesterday). My system is AMD 64x2 processor based and I run the 64 bit version of the OS.
I have kept nepomukservices running for about 200 minutes now and CPU activity on the process never goes under 90% (peaked at 100%) - it's got to be hard work....what is it supposed to do... tag files? Still being able to use the computer despite this runaway process is a blessing of dual core processors :-) ** Tags added: intrepid jaunty kde4.2 nepomukservices -- nepomukservices take about 90% of cpu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-runtime in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
