My case: 8.04.2, Intel 82541PI, stuck at 10 Mb/s, cat6 cable, NetGEAR GS105 switch. The switch does make a 1000Mb/s connection with NetGEAR ReadyNAS Duo, on any switch port, with any of my cat6 cables.
