At www.penmount.com, you can find touchscreen drivers for all of the recent
ubuntu releases (and other Linux distros as well). Thanks to Penmount for
working on Linux drivers.
After downloading and following the instructions for the 8.10 driver, my
kohjinsha netbook touchscreen does work quite well. However, I need to adjust
for the touchscreen sensitivity not quite extending all the way to the sides &
bottom/top of the screen. This driver is easy enough to install, but is there
any way to get this included with Ubuntu Netbook remix? I see the "Calibrate
Touchscreen" menu item under Admininstration for Alpha 5 of 9.04 but this only
works for evtouch touchscreens. I guess this comment is more of a wishlist for
touchscreen support than any value-added info for this bug. Thanks.
