Apparently I was to quick on the trigger, after I added gdm to the the start procedure with "# update-rc.d gdm defaults" I ended up in the same problem as I had in the start, but when I remove gdm again and start gdm with "# /etc/init.d/gdm start" it start up fine, and sound seems to work perfect (I didn't have any sound before).
