Binary package hint: notify-osd
I first installed Jaunty, and the notifications worked like a charm
(specifically lcd brightness and volume). I adjusted the setting in
System>Preferences>Pop-up_Notifications, and ever since I only see an
empty black notification box when adjusting brightness or volume. To
clarify, I can see the black box, but it doesn't have the white
volume/brightness level images. I tried reinstalling all related
packages, but it didn't fix the bug.
I am currently using notify-osd 0.8-0ubuntu4 with the latest pre-
released/unsupported updates.
