Public bug reported: Binary package hint: akonadi-server
I'm not familiar enough with apparmor to understand why it is failing. Here is the audit output from syslog: Feb 26 17:08:25 TestWorkstation kernel: [ 7306.721632] type=1503 audit(1235686105.493:1022): operation="inode_create" info="Failed name resolution - object not a valid entry" error=-2 requested_mask="a::" denied_mask="a::" fsuid=1009 pid=12004 profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi" Feb 26 17:08:25 TestWorkstation kernel: [ 7306.960613] type=1503 audit(1235686105.732:1023): operation="inode_create" info="Failed name resolution - object not a valid entry" error=-2 requested_mask="a::" denied_mask="a::" fsuid=1009 pid=12013 profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi" Feb 26 17:08:25 TestWorkstation kernel: [ 7307.176948] type=1503 audit(1235686105.948:1024): operation="inode_create" info="Failed name resolution - object not a valid entry" error=-2 requested_mask="a::" denied_mask="a::" fsuid=1009 pid=12022 profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi" Feb 26 17:08:26 TestWorkstation kernel: [ 7307.434551] type=1503 audit(1235686106.204:1025): operation="inode_create" info="Failed name resolution - object not a valid entry" error=-2 requested_mask="a::" denied_mask="a::" fsuid=1009 pid=12031 profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi" If I disable the apparmor profile for mysql-akonadi then it starts without problems. /home is NFS4 mounted.
