Can you do the following tests: Try to print (convert to PostScript) the image from other programs (GIMP, f-spot, gqview, ...) or directly to CUPS ("lpr -o scaling=100 <file.png>"). Does the same problem occur?
Install GPL GhostScript ("sudo apt-get install gs-gpl", perhaps you will need to activate universe in /etc/apt/sources.list) and do gs-gpl -sDEVICE=x11 <file.ps> end also gs-esp -sDEVICE=x11 <file.ps> When is the file correctly displayed? Try to display also your dapper.ps.gz and edgy.ps.gz with both GhostScript versions. ** Changed in: libgnomeprint (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- regression: png to postscript -> black image https://launchpad.net/bugs/75858 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
