Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Playing any mp3 files over ssh on rhythmbox is impossible and i get the
following error message:
"Could not open resource for reading".
I also have the same issue when trying to import the mp3 collection which
resides on the server via ssh or smb!!

i have no problems listening to music over ssh using totem or vlc.

lsb_release -rd:
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10

apt-cache policy rhythmbox
rhythmbox:
  Installed: 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3
  Candidate: 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3
  Version table:
 *** 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3 0

     0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4 0
        500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages

What i expect to happen:
When i double click on a mp3 file in nautilus (which is connecting to a server
via ssh) i expect rhythmbox to be able to play the file.
When i import a music collection to rhythmbox over ssh i expect the files to be
added to the rhythmbox music library.

What happens:
I get the following error message and no music is played:
"Could not open resource for reading".
