Do you think this bug will be fixed until the next alpha? or beta? and what about the final release?
I am asking because the desktop (I have tested kubuntu 9.04 alpha 4) is not usable with these bad performance, and in the freedesktop bug (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16835) one of the developers said: "... but fixing the performance regression is out of scope for this release cycle."
