The error messages say that there is no 'gdebi' domain. Is the translation file called 'gdebi.mo'? You can change this text or you can comment out for now the commands that invoke the localisation messages, because these do not contribute to the problem. The issue is to figure out a way so that the non-ASCII filenames are read and interpreted correctly.
