The bug just dissappeared for me at some point... I had all forgotten about this!
Nothing special about my installation... If I remember correctly, I was using 7.10 alpha version. At least the locale was Finnish UTF-8. I remember seeing the bug even when using the live CD, and after installation and updates of that time, too. I silently blame the early alphas for the bug. I wish I had time to grab the 7.10 CD and put it to test...
