I tried to reproduce this bug with ubuntu 8.10. It seems to work fine now. Testing procedure: Installed ubuntu. Started ubuntu. Configured wireless. Tested wireless: works OK. Restarted the computer. Tested wireless: worked OK and is connected with the correct network
