This bug is NOT a duplicate of 261573. It has nothing to do with apple keyboards, or custom third level choosers. This bug applies to a standard british keyboard, and probably all other layouts too.
This bug is to do with the COMPOSE key set in gnome to allow, for example, non-german keyboard to type german characters, such as ä, ö, ü, ß etc. as well as accented characters from any other language. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 261573 Intrepid: No "AltGr" key defined -> e.g. no "@" symbol with MacBook Pro ** Changed in: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- can't type € (euro) symbol when using "right alt key" (altgr) as compose key in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/254922 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
