Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 on a Gateway 7325 laptop. I'm accessing my gmail email using evolution (2.24.3). I also have updated my contacts, calendar, and memos in Evolution from my palm tungsten e2 pda. Evolution seems to work fine except when I try to access my calendar - at which point it immediately crashes. I had this problem before and I uninstalled evolution so ompletely that I lost my gnome desktop! Luckily I was able to re-install the gnome desktop along with evolution, by opening a terminal interface (ctrl+alt+f1) and re-installing the gnome desktop. Evolution, including the calendar component, then worked. Now, I'm back to evolution crashing on attempt to open calendar.
