** Description changed: I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X200 with Intel 5300ABGN. With linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic I can't connect to my D-link DIR-855 wireless AP. I see a few other wireless networks with "iwlist scanning", but not my 5GHz network. This has started misbehaving since linux- image-2.6.28-7-generic but seems to have stopped working completely in linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic. 03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless WiFi Link 5300 Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 1011 Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR+ FastB2B- DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx- Latency: 0, Cache Line Size: 64 bytes Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 2297 Region 0: Memory at f2500000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K] Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: iwlagn Kernel modules: iwlagn Wireless has worked flawlessly with 8.10 and up until linux- image-2.6.28-6-generic (I have been on Jaunty alpha since around christmas). + + This could be a same problem described in #331092.
