Please attach your Xorg.0.log. Also run `lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.txt` and attach that file.
(Also, it's helpful to us if you attach each output as a separate file rather than concatenated, but thanks for providing all that info). I would also recommend trying to boot with no xorg.conf, as the one you've used has a variety of settings which may conflict. Once you do so, please attach a new Xorg.0.log from that try. It's interesting that you got it working on that other distro, there are several possible reasons why that may be; it would be interesting to see your xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log from that in addition to the above. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - Monitor input not supported + Monitor input not supported with acer x193w LCD -- Monitor input not supported with acer x193w LCD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230571 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
