Public bug reported: Gnome plays the access sound during access even if the corresponding option is disabled in Sound Preferences.
I disabled the access sound when my system was 8.04. When I upgraded to 8.10 it started to play it even if the setting has not changed and it's still disabled. The setting I disabled is System/Preferences/Sound/Sound/Graphical Environment/Access. (please note that I use IT locale and that's my translation of menus, maybe not exact).
