Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic
I did a system update using update manager application. It said it can only do a partial upgrade. Following is the complete message in the "message box" appeared after failed installation. Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic_2.6.28-8.23_i386.deb' The upgrade will continue but the '/var/cache/apt/archives/linux- image-2.6.28-8-generic_2.6.28-8.23_i386.deb' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it. ________________________________ Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) Release: 9.04 ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic_2.6.28-8.23_i386.deb' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
