Additional info: Sometimes moving the mouse between monitors will interrupt the screens dimming, sometimes not. When not, a keypress will. Unable to test on newer releases at this time. I should state that compiz is enabled and I have not tried it disabled yet. I have another issue that I believe is related to the multi-monitor setup in that sometimes I can't start (GTK/Gnome) applications. Not from the menu, not from the desktop, not from AWN. I was lucky enough to have a terminal open already and attempting to start an application resulted in:
can't find display :0.0 but $DISPLAY is/was set to that. Apps won't start on any monitor when this happens. This also affects the 'switch user'/'logout' actions. They won't run but shutdown will. I can continue to use programs already open and a xserver restart fixes it. I know it's not part of this bug but I beliive they are related somehow. I'll see what happens with compiz disabled. -- screensaver ignores mouse action on second display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243449 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
