As can not tell if the version number is good or bad but as I can see the aspell-ro was updated in Jaunty to the latest version.
I am confident we could find a solution for this problem. I will try to gather more knowledge about spellcheckers and how to work and try to come with a solution. I hope Jani will be sponsoring the changes. Everyone is free to chose a versioning scheme of it's will.
