Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Just upgraded from ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10, i.e. network manager 0.7 trying to log into a wireless network the 'authentication required' dialog appears not to display properly. There are no fields to enter username and password, and 'Connect' is grayed out. This means I am unable to connect to network at all, and hence downgrading to nm 0.6 or installing any potential patch is going to be tough. Please see attached screenshot. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- network manager: unable to enter wireless password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329833 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
