Create the following file: .is_audio_player ------------------------------------------------------------------ audio_folders=MUSIC folder_depth=2 output_formats=application/ogg,audio/mpeg
use "mtp-sendfile .is_audio_player .is_audio_player" to transfer file to root of Mp3 player Jaunty version of Rhythmbox now stores files in the MUSIC folder. Mine is still not storing in folder structure. Working through that right now to determine if there is additional configuration to be done. I had not used MTP protocol under Ubuntu prior to this week, but I still have a clean Intrepid install and will test same there. While we are here, and completely off-topic, the list of MP3 players supported by libmtp ought to be in a configurable file and not in music- players.h, but a topic for another day -- Rhythmbox doesn't put music files in the Music directory on mtp devices https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316007 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
