Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu 9.04 up-to-date as of 12 Feb, on a Dell Vostro 1500.
The kernel reports that there is a RJ45 cable plugged into the RJ45 port, but there is none. This leads to strange behaviors, like for example Network Manager trying to obtain an IP address for eth0 at each session start. Please let me know if you need additionnal informations.
