Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic
After installing the new kernel version (linux-
image-2.6.27-11-generic_2.6.27-11.27_amd64) my wireless card (rtl8185
based, using kernel module "rtl8180") stopped working (was ok with
linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic_2.6.27-11.26_amd64)
"Stopped working" as "it's not in the list of network interfaces
anymore", not with "ifconfig -a" neither with "iwconfig". Similar bug
was on an early version of 2.6.27-11 (don't remember), but was fixed
soon
on ubuntu 8.10
