Hi Adam, Thank you very much for your help.... Right hand bottom bar - when I removed some desktop open icons, the "lost" windows started to re-appear. Many thanks, Bob Koomans, really appreciate this!

The applets are all around them, the menu is missing, etc. What happens when you click on the little arrows in the corners of the screen? Maybe you should just add new panels and delete the old ones.
