This is quite an annoying bug because it reduces battery life. It doesn't happen with Banshee or Skype for example. Even if the culprit is likely the adobe flash plugin I think it should be worked around because a lot of people uses it every day.
To reproduce this bug start the powertop tool, play a video on youtube with firefox, then close that tab.
