Yes, this alpha runs on my 64-bit Intrepid machines far better than did the long-standing 0.7.10 version, but at least for me, it certainly does not work at all well, as preview and source view modes are so broken /bug-ridden as to be either completely or effectively unusable.
It does, however, allow me to attempt the basic functions that would cause its predecessor to crash. I can now insert images, for instance, although as I say, those images remain invisible, even in "preview" mode, which seems to be completely broken.
