I'm suddenly experiencing this problem. When pluggin in my EUSSO Wirless-G USB Adapter[0] (using zd1211rw driver) my system sometimes (and sometimes not) gets a hard freeze. Until yesterday things where working great, it was today that i'm having this problem, and i didn't do any update of any package. Here's all the information i can get from /var/log/messages:
