Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
I was modifying some file when gedit closed abruptly. No way to restart it: trying to execute it from the CL did not work, it just wouldn't launch, and the line returned. To make it start again I had to remove this file: /tmp/gedit.MyUsername.2997545542 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gedit NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: gedit 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SourcePackage: gedit Uname: Linux 2.6.27-11-generic i686 ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- gedit closed abruptly and would not start again https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/325053 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
