Public bug reported: Twitux 0.62 on Intrepid.
When application is intially loaded, messages ("tweets") are displayed in an unexpanded form, meaning that some messages are truncated. This happens even with the "Expand messages" option set. This is not a major problem: if one manually reloaded via F5, then the messages are correctly expanded. The messages are also correctly expanded if one waits for the first automatic reload (default 5 minutes). Steps to reproduce: 1. Configure Twitux to 'Expand messages' (via Settings/Preferences), then quit. 2. Launch Twitux and observe that some of the more lengthy messages are truncated. (3. Note that the problem goes away if one reloads the timeline or allows it to reload automatically) I'm guessing that the 'Expand messages' option is not being honoured at initial application launch, but *is* honoured subsequently. ** Affects: twitux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- twitux: Messages are truncated on initial application load https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323662 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
