Thank you for your reply. compiz-core & compiz-plugins deb packages for Intrepid and Jaunty (0.7.8-0ubuntu4.1 / 0.7.8-0ubuntu9) still have the same problem.
translations are missing from XML files included in those binary packages ( i.e. core.xml , annotate.xml , fade.xml ,move.xml, rotate.xml.....etc.). because almost all msgid & msgstr lines in .po files of their source packages are marked as obsolete. Compiz-Config-Settings-Manager(CCSM) only displays contents of those xml.files. translations in .po files are wiritten into **.xml.in files when you compile source files to make a binary package. BTW, openSUSE 11.0 & 11.1 RC1 had the same problem, and I reported it to Jigish Gohil a.k.a. CyberOrg. He made a patch to fix it for compiz packages in openSUSE 11.1 and 11.1 was released with fully localized compiz. http://bugs.opencompositing.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1081#c2 http://bugs.opencompositing.org/attachment.cgi?id=561&action=edit the patch is just to unmark obsoleted lines in .po files. -- compiz core & plugins not localized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
