I have opened a terminal window and I have done this:
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
--leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log gnome-session
And part of I get on the screen is this:

I think that open a terminal window it is not the correct way of doing
what you want but I don't know what I have to do because if I reboot
without gnome I only know to use 'startx'. How can I try gnome-session?
I attached a log file because I can read on it some errors although I
haven't get the error reported here.
