You shouldn't expect improvements: this kernel runs exactly as the others do. I read that now the kernel "shows a warning when the USB modules are not loaded in the right order" (or something similar to the 2.6.28-4 warning), but 5 minutes ago it resets and I have not seen nothing different in my dmesg.
