Here is a PDF I have the error loading. I did notice this file was
edited with Adobe Acrobat professional and then saved again as a PDF
file. IF the file is not touched by Adobe software Inkscape seems to be
able to load the file image.

Thanks for looking in to it. I like the Inkscape software it is pretty
good.

Best regards,

John

Status in Inkscape: A Vector Drawing Tool: New

Bug description:
I am experiencing a file load of a PDF file that has been split by PDFTK
Builder. Some of the split PDF file open and some don't open. When
opening the files that don't work an error comes up in the Inkscape
program window "Linked image not found" with a water mark of a big red
X in the background.
