As an Ubuntu user living in Ubuntu country and proud of it,I can only comment
as follows:
At the last Linux Foundation International Gathering it was concluded that
we,the Ubuntu users, amongst others, are the vitally needed guinea-pig force
needed to achieve the ultimate goal of a near-as-possible perfect operating
system to oppose Windows/Gates.They further expressed their gratitude for
software development but wowed the serious lack of TESTING it before putting
into it practice. This is our problem.
An operating system as advanced as Intrepid 8.10 should, when launched ,not
have vital components like bluetooth all facets, printer drivers and the like,
not functioning properly as thousands of us use these machines to earn our
daily living
and dis-functionality of 'vital' components force us to Windows.A totally
unacceptable situation.
I realise the problems are vast but cannot accept that after all the bug
reports and comments all over the forums, Intrepid is just not delivering what
it was intended to do and its the modern day basics that are troublesome.
