This report now has various reporters with differerent issues. I am
going to use this for the original report from Saïvann Carignan. His hal
debug output shows
14:15:47.054 [I] blockdev.c:970: Ignoring hotplug event - no parent
14:15:47.054 [W] blockdev.c:1481: Not adding device object
which seems to point to an inconsistency with the /sys tree/udev/hal.
Saïvann, do you still have this issue in 8.10?
