Public bug reported:
My screen dims every 5-10 minutes. It is supposed to never dim.
In System->Preferences->Power Management I've checked and unchecked the
"Dim display when idle" box in both tabs multiple times. I also have
checked them and restarted, and then unchecked them. Didn't help.
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 on a Sony Vaio VGN FE-880E.
Please ask for any information that would help.
