Hang on a minute! My system is crashing, it's still a bug. Just because reinstalling it fixes the problem doesn't mean it's not a problem! On my system, I *don't* get a warning about "JRE-REQUIRE" -- and in fact I do have "sun-java6-jre" installed. There is something wrong with the JRE detection algorithm, I would guess.
As I haven't done anything particularly unusual here, I can imagine you will see this problem in the future when all the Hardy users upgrade to the next LTS release. If I want to have Sun Java installed (I need it for another application) then it shouldn't break OOo. ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- OpenOffice writer crashes with picture properties Macro https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292199 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
