Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird turns off in the middle of typing and/or sending
emails. There are no warnings. It restarts with no problem. Emails
that I'd been in the act of sending (as in, hit send button and program
ceases) are not written to the sent file or sent. We're on Ubuntu 8.10.
