Performing the following steps has worked for a 8.10 "Intrepid” (kernel 2.6.27-9) on a Toshiba M10.
- logout and get into console (CTRL+ALT+F1) then # rmmod snd-hda-intel # modprobe snd-hda-intel model=toshiba - And add the following line snd-hda-intel model=toshiba to the ”/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base” (if you omit this modprobe settings won't be persistent). Hope it helps. -- Intel audio controller does not play sound on a Tecra M10 running Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279934 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
